   My husband and I live on a 10 acre small holding which we share with 8 animals - 3 dogs and 5 horses. We have Wizz, our Flattie, Phoenix who is a Golden Retriever and Gizmo a Border Terrier. We have two miniature Shetlands and three big horses. We bought the property to 'live the dream' and have all the animals at home with space for them to play, but its very hard work as there is always something to do!! mend a fence, harrow a field etc. We love it! Unfortunately, Wizz is allergic to grass and tree pollens but we manage that and he's happy with his four legged brothers and sisters.

Wizz is the most intelligent, bossy, talkative, lovable and handsome dog I know! He is always full of energy and action but lets you know when its time for bed!!! He has suffered badly with skin and tumour problems for the last couple of years but we are optimistic that we are winning the battle. People stop us when we are out walking to admire him and he talks back to them, in doggy language obviously!!! He is a definite water baby and will launch himself in any river, pond or lake. What more can I say - I am privileged and honoured to know him and the breed and there's never a dull moment!
