I have been owned by Flat-Coated Retrievers for the past five years. Riker keeps me very busy in the areas of conformation, obedience, working certificates and hunt tests. Jayda likes all of those activities with the additions of flyball and agility.

Our house is also shared by an Australian Shepherd named Brisbane, and a Newfoundland dog named Kali.

When we aren't busy with the dogs my husband, Randy, and I are full time teachers. When not teaching, training, or showing the dogs, we like to read, play bridge, and dabble with new things on our computers.

A delightful female with a mind of her own! Jayda loves tracking, agility, and flyball. Around the house, she is found in the'comfy' places which include the couch, the bed, and our laps. Her nickname at home is "the princess".

Awards: BPIG at the age of 10 months

Riker is a very typical FC! He is extremely exuberant (much to the delight of obedience spectators and our local club members!) and lives to retrieve. He has been very successful in the show ring and is shaping up to do just as well in obedience, hunt tests, and his new-found love - flyball!

Theo is a wonderful addition to our home! He is starting some basic obedience training and learning the fundamentals of agility. Theo is a natural retriever, and once all the snow and ice is gone from our property, we will be training him for working and hunt tests. Theo has yet to meet another dog or human that he doesn't absolutley love and is at ease wherever he finds himself. His favorite trick right now is to put his entire head into the mouth of our Newfoundland dog - we think he wants to be a "newfie trainer" when he grows up!
